Gov. Ducey of Arizona Declares State of Emergency

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has declared a state of emergency at the state’s southwestern border due to the overwhelming numbers of immigrants invading Arizona. US citizens along the border are increasingly feeling unsafe due to the invasion and are asking for help. Ducey has activated 250 National Guard troops to assist Border Patrol and has allocated 25 million dollars to cover costs. 172,331 people were caught crossing the border illegally in March, 48,587 of those people were unaccompanied minors. Arizona is the 1st State to declare an emergency at the border.
